What is it about?

This paper deals with continuos flow scheduling problems. The disruptions in the processing capacities may result in a decrease in the schedule performance. This work develops a new method for a robustness analysis of those schedules that are formulated in continuous time in the state-space domain. The developed method is based on attainable sets.

Why is it important?

The potential of attainable sets for analyzing the robustness of schedules for continuous flow scheduling problem is shown. They permit to consider perturbations and schedule performances as time functions.
