Perspectives
The above analysis of the solutions given by the participants shows that even when university calculus courses pursue an understanding of important concepts, students fail to obtain full conceptual comprehension of some topics, for example, the meaning of the value of a function at a point, which plays a role in various situations in calculus, the composition of two or more functions, the definition of the derivative of a function and the FTC.
