What is it about?

This study assesses the determinants of locational choice for new foreign affiliates across Polish regions with special focus on the role of agglomeration externalities, having controlled for regional and region-industry specific characteristics. In particular, we investigate in how far regional agglomeration of upstream and downstream industries as well as own-industry horizontal agglomeration are important for locational choice.
