What is it about?

It explored the ways in which Queensland university libraries are responding to the current university research agenda as well as challenges experienced in striving to provide best-practice research support.

Why is it important?

By revealing the high level of variance in support among these libraries, especially in regard to eResearch support in general and research data management in particular, the survey results highlighting potential areas for collaboration to improve support.

Perspectives

What was interesting and useful, from my perspective, was the realization of the importance for libraries to continue to collaborate in order to respond effectively to the rapidly changing research landscape. That can be not only at a national level but also at a local / regional level.
