What is it about?

The 2003 Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) adopted at Maputo committed the African governments to invest at least 10% of the total public spending in the agriculture sector within five years. In this study, we examine the role government spending on agriculture has played in enhancing Africa's level of food security in the past 25 years.
