What is it about?
A new method for fast determining total antioxidant capacity has been developed. The small amount of sample was mixed with a reagent in a 96 wells wellplate, then the product in each well was fastly analyzed by flow injection system with amperometric detection. This new method provided an opportunity for fast screening of natural products that have good antioxidant activity.

The search for natural products which has good health benefit such as antioxidant property is essential. The new method for fast screening and with less expense and providing precise and accurate results is needed. This new method used amperometric detection which avoids the error from colored and particulate interferences.
Perspectives
This flow injection amperometric technique offers better precision and accuracy of the determination. By incorporating the system with a well plate platform, small amounts of sample and reagent solutions were used, and fast analysis was gained.
