What is it about?
We establish an analogue of the fundamental theorem of algebra for polynomial matrix equations, in which the matrices-coefficients and unknown matrix are assumed to be circulant matrices.

Why is it important?
It is probably the first paper, when the fundamental theorem of algebra is establishes for the polynomial matrix equation.
Perspectives
We believe that the result has a classical nature. It can be developed as a theoretical result. As well, it may have important applications.
