What is it about?

This qualitative study explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Bangladesh's tourism industry through stakeholder interviews and a literature review. Conducted from Jan 2021 to Mar 2022 in four tourist destinations, findings reveal positive (e.g., improved air quality) and negative (e.g., reduced tourist arrivals) effects. Recommendations for re-engineering policy actions are proposed based on stakeholder perspectives.
