Why is it important?
Given that the number of publications is increasing exponentially, it is important to understand the current state of the literature in relation to your topic of interest
Perspectives
We have adapted this method from systematic reviews to a much shorter timeframe - and I have used it since in every literature review I have done. It helped me cover fast and comprehensively a new topic (e.g. photo-elicitation; assemblage thinking).
