What is it about?
the research examined the differences between terrorists and murderers; we have looked into the common risk factors between the two groups; we asked the question, what is the difference in personality development between a murderer and a terrorist?

Why is it important?
we have found that childhood behavioural problems such as aggression and disobedance has been recognised as risk factors in criminal behaviour and we have also found that the same behavioural problems to be significant in the childhood of terrorists. These results are important in anti-terrorism strategies as prevention strategies, supporting children who have aggressive and disobedience behaviours earlier.
Perspectives
Terrorist share significant psychological risk factors with murderers, in relation to the personality development process from childhood, in conflict areas where other factors influencing the path of terrorism are available it is important to tackle the personal vulnerabilities of aggressive and disobedient children to minimise the personalality risk factors and prevent some aspect of terrorism.
