Why is it important?
According to climate change, we need to take the responsibility to tackle them. Therefore, we investigated the possibility to curb the emissions (especially CO2 emissions) in the energy system in Thailand. Our finding showed that the CCS technology together with the CO2 emissions taxes policy in the power sector were the most effective tools to lessen such an emission.
Perspectives
This research article will provide the insight of 1.5-degree climate goal for developing country like Thailand. I hope that a lot of researches will focus on this issue in the near future. I hope this article will be a starting point for the energy sector in Thailand. More than anything else, and if nothing else, I hope you find this article thought-provoking.
