This strategies are suitable for map designers to emphasize the cultural identity and diversity of each place.


The rapid evolution of the technologies that map and represent the territory automatically and in real time, is leaving Design out of this process of wayfinding. This article presents a response from the design side, which adds value to maps, beyond wayfinding capabilities, the designer's existential patrimony.
