What is it about?

models provide a structure for organizing knowledge and learning. But are upheld as epitomizing the profession. Stagnated perspectives need to be reconsidered to bring the things that matter back into view.

Why is it important?

People's experiences of how they do their occupations cannot be captured in a diagram, and practice has become more complex.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure in rethinking what I was taught as an occupational therapy student and what I used in practice for many years. My research into this continues through my soon to be completed PhD. I hope that this article is as thought provoking for you, as it was for me.
