Sport Identity provides a whole new way of exploring the lives and experiences of girls and women. Sport, in this scenario is also a category of analysis that can help understand one's identity.

Perspectives

The concept of sport identity came about as I was trying to make sense of my own life and the role that sport played in creating my identity.
