What is it about?
It focuses on an intervention programme with the goal of getting to know the attitudes of caregivers and examining their influence on infants. In the programme, the caregivers will be given the possibility of sharing with peers and of learning contemporary knowledge.

Why is it important?
In the infant class in the day-care centres in the State of Israel there are infants who range in age from three months to fifteen months. In recent years the number of children in the infant class in the day-care centres is steadily increasing. The training of the caregivers is basic training of the Ministry of Labour. It does not provide a unique solution to the period of infancy, to the social-emotional development, and to the caregivers’ attitudes.
