with the new curriculum in Indonesian education system, English lesson in Primary school levels is no longer a compulsory subject. This paper argues that English should be a compulsory in Primary schools in Indonesia

English lesson should be learnt by learners in primary school levels as at the early age is the righ time for young learners to learn a language other than their mother tongue

Perspectives

I hope this article can provide insights toward the policy of English in Primary schools. The findings of this article can be a starting points for other researchers to further investigate similar topic in the future
