What is it about?

Do EU educational mobility programmes for adults promote communicative competences and democratic values? Firstly, we need to analyse what we understand by European civic and democratic values. We will see that there is a limited number of specific proposals for deliberate educational intervention aimed at promoting democracy and European citizenship abroad. However, the prevailing stance seems to posit a spontaneous acquisition of such values through participation in transnational learning activities aimed at developing communicative, intercultural, and digital skills.
