What is it about?
This is the first time we have shown that drumstick seed could be useful in treating female reproductive hazards due to Arsenic. We also established the underlying mechanism where this seed influences the regulatory pathway of S-adenosine methionine pool in the way of Arsenic detoxification, oxidative stress and inflammation.

Why is it important?
1. Drumstick seed could replace the conventional use of chelating agents in treating Arsenic mediated disorders. 2. Drumstick seed could reduce the necessity of painful use of Arsenic chelators BAL, DMSA et. 3. Drumstick could be also useful in treating female infertility.
Perspectives
The article is the outcome of a sincere joined effort of my research team. This is an interesting study which can help the researcher to develop low cost therapeutic treatment strategy against Arsenic.
