Why is it important?
This study is the first due to dealing with many parasite species and the factors affecting their occurrences in a protected area anounced to be a Ramsar area in Turkey.
Perspectives
This study dealt with a more complex relationships between ecto and endoparasites of an economically significant fish species collected a special sampling area and statistical analysis that were used provided clearer understanding about host-parasite-environment combination.
