What is it about?
This paper presents a modelo that integrates production scheduling and packaging size problems for a flexible flow shop system. The proposed methodology aims to minimize total cost and carbon dioxide.

Why is it important?
This is the first paper that address both scheduling and packaging size problems in one model. We found that the packaging size for sale can be flexible according to demand behaviour.
Perspectives
