What is it about?

This book contains a collection of methodological essays on several aspects of the "Corpus of English Texts on Astronomy" (CETA) as well as some pilot studies using it. It deals both with compilation principles and exploitation possibilities.

Why is it important?

It is the book containing the CD-Rom with the corpus itself. It is important because it is the first subcorpus of the "Coruña Corpus of English Scientific Writing" published.

Perspectives

Compiling this corpus was not easy and it took years. The book does not perhaps reflect all the hard work behind it, but some chapters in it are exceptionally inspiring.
