Why is it important?

Our findings show that 1) exclusive choice between isolated and integrated form-focused instruction is not necessary, and that 2) while both isolated and integrated form-focused instruction are effective in promoting the acquisition of L2 grammar, their effect may vary considerably depending on the linguistic nature of the target features.

Perspectives

This article has posed some questions of both theoretical and methodological importance. I hope that I will be able to address some in my future research.
