What is it about?

A realistic view of language structure should be compatible with what is known about the brain, since the human brain is where linguistic structure resides. The theory presented in this book is based on linguistic evidence but turns out not only to be compatible with findings of neuroscience, it also contributes new understanding to how the brain operates in processing information generally.
