What is it about?

The article deals with the underlying meaning in two of Mario Vargas Llosa's first stories included in Los jefes. The analysis focuses on 'The staging' of the unconscious of the central characters and their actions. From this analysis arises the surprise of the 'no innocence' of the grandfather (in the story of the same name) and the 'no-innocence' of the younger brother, in the homonymous story.
