What is it about?
Artificial intelligence (AI) represents a paradigm shift across all fields of knowledge, and interlinguistics is no exception. The use of AI as a medium for real-time communication necessitates its consideration within the framework of interlinguistics. To this end, this paper proposes a reflection on language planning based on the Sustainable Development Goals.

Why is it important?
The geopolitical context and the trajectory of technology multinationals have led to the outsourcing of fundamental cognitive resources, such as memory, reasoning, and now communication. Technology is not neutral, and we must take action to ensure its proper use, with the Human Being at the center.
Perspectives
This article offers an opportunity to share reflections on the evolution of global society, driven by concepts and technologies whose emergence went unnoticed for decades yet shaped the world as we know it. This process can be understood in terms of three major stages: the advent of writing, the crystallization of mathematical thought in the 18th century (with Bayes, for instance), and the great leap in the formalization of thought during the first half of the 20th century. These aspects affect us all in a deeply personal way; it is therefore time to consider how we can build a future in which every individual contributes something fundamental to making it possible, harmonious, just, and peaceful.
