What is it about?
Terminology within transgender and nonbinary communities is often changing and contested. This paper looks at strategies that nonbinary YouTubers use to legitimize and support their language use and the language ideologies that underpin these strategies.

As a nonbinary and transgender linguist, I am particularly interested in the ways trans people use language to talk about ourselves, but also how we communicate about those language choices to people outside of transgender communities.
