What is it about?
This article investigates whether professional simultaneous interpreters can predict what the speaker will say next better than student interpreters, even when the sentences are pretty simple and there is no interpreting task involved.

This work is important because it shows that a professional task/requirement (i.e., simultaneous interpreting) can enhance language understanding skills in daily life.
Perspectives
It was a pleasure to work on this project and write the paper thanks to my co-authors because the entire process was truly collaborative, constructive, and mentally stimulating.
