What is it about?
In this work we examine gesture production and early communication in Peruvian children aged 8-15 months old employing data from MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories for Peruvian Spanish, in the first such study with Peruvian children. We also focus on the pointing gesture development and track its evolutive trajectory through both hand and finger pointing.
