Why is it important?
We situate this translations in its cultural context, analyze these texts, examine his thoughts and disquisitions on Greek tragedy and search for the reasons that prompted him to make these translations, silenced until the end of the twentieth century, when they was edited by M. Fabbri (1992). These translations have an important historiographical value.
