What is it about?
We found that m6A modification of mRNA is important for controlling the stability and translation of those involved in plants' response against pathogen infection.

Why is it important?
m6A modification is the most prevalent modification of mRNA and involved in many biological processes in animals and plants. Through this study, we discovered the integral role of m6A modification in regulating plant immune responses.
Perspectives
This study demonstrates the importance of RNA modifications in modulating plant immune responses and shows how to dissect their complex effects and distinguish the direct effect from those indirect ones.
