eIF2Bδ blocks the integrated stress response and maintains eIF2B activity and cancer metastasis by overexpression in breast cancer stem cells

What is it about?

Cancer stem cells are responsible for the metastatic activity of many cancer types, but must withstand physiological stresses that inhibit protein synthesis. Our findings identify a new regulatory mechanism of physiological stress and protein synthesis that is essential for breast cancer metastasis.
