What is it about?
Cancer cells use elaborate strategies to survive chemotherapy, but our understanding of the processes they apply to resolve the cellular stress chemotherapy causes them is limited. We found that overcoming stress can trigger new challenges for the cancer cells that survive chemotherapy, which could potentially be exploited therapeutically.

Perspectives
This work was a thoroughly enjoyable collaboration between multiple researchers from a diverse range of fields, such as cancer cell biology, biomathematics, and systems biology, which forced us all to be open-minded about the way we do our research.
