Our findings uncover PHOSPHO-1 as a novel regulator of adipose tissue thermogenesis, a process dissipates energy as heat and combats obesity. Therefore, PHOSPHO1 can be further exploited to develop innovative approaches to manage obesity and its related metabolic syndrome.
