Why is it important?

Our results suggest that about 10–15% of COVID patients, that harbor a common genetic feature, could benefit from a simple blood test. This test measures specific molecules in the blood and can help doctors make better treatment choices early on.

Perspectives

We are excited to share this clinical tool with the community of COVID patients and doctors, because we see how worried COVID patients are about facing long-term health issue due to COVID, and how important it is for doctors to have the right tools for making the best choices for their patients.
