What is it about?

If we do not address the problems of air pollution and climate change, air quality alerts will rise. Then, either health risks from pollution will increase, or people will adapt to protect themselves from those risks, or both. Here, we study the change in U.S. air quality alerts over this century due to fine particulate matter (PM2.5), who they may affect, and how they may respond.
