What is it about?
The aim of this work is to promote the utilisation of clayey by-product generated from the washing of river sand for aerated concrete production without autoclaving process. This study has been undertaken to investigate the effect hygrothermal conditions on thermophysical properties of of cellular concretes elaborated from kaolinite clay, cement and aluminium powder as expansive agent. Both the line source method and the transient plane source method were simultaneously employed for measuring the thermophysical properties of test materials under various hygrothermal conditions.
