What is it about?

Our research focuses on helping farmers grow the right medicinal plants in the right places using the power of technology. With changing weather and soil conditions, it’s becoming harder for farmers to decide what to grow. That’s where our idea comes in. We created a system that gives farmers personalized suggestions about which medicinal plants are best suited for their land. It looks at natural factors like soil type, pH level, temperature, rainfall, and altitude. For example, if a farmer lives in a cooler, high-altitude area with specific soil, our system can recommend plants that grow well under those conditions. To do this, we used something called machine learning, which means we trained a computer to learn from a lot of data and make smart decisions. We tested different techniques to see which one gives the most accurate results. The best model we found can give suggestions with about 96% accuracy!

Why is it important?

Medicinal plants not only have health benefits, but they also provide a good source of income for farmers. Our goal is to make farming easier and more profitable by giving farmers the right tools and knowledge to make smart choices.
