What is it about?

Slope on pits BMK-35 is dominated by sedimentary rocks, where the characteristics of rocks are influenced by geological structures so that rocks that are initially quite can become soft rocks when exposed when mining activities are carried out.

Why is it important?

We examine the rock compressive strength value that represents the pit slope of BMK -35. Moreover, this study also analyze the class rock mass with the SMR and the slope safety factor to prevent avalanche.

Perspectives

We hope this article is useful for mining engineers and geotechnical engineers to understand how to analyze slope Stability and prevent landslides early on, in order to minimize accidents.
