What is it about?

The present study is aimed to investigate the effect of the 3D printing temperature on the mechanical behavior of polymer materials. For this purpose, three levels of 3D printing temperature were chosen according to the polymer melting temperature range. The commercial polylactic acid PLA 3D870 was used as polymer filaments. The effect of the processing temperature on the mechanical elasticity and resistance was studied using 3-point bending test. In addition, two other process parameters were taken into account to determine the interaction effect of each of them with the printing temperature.
