What is it about?
In this study, we conducted research to improve the boundary conditions of smoothed particle hydrodynamics, a numerical analysis technique for fluid flow analysis. In particular, we focused on methods that allow complex boundary shapes to be easily modeled.

Why is it important?
In SPH, the boundary of the problem domain is typically modeled using particles. However, this makes modeling of complex boundary shapes difficult. We proposed a boundary modeling method using triangular segments to overcome these limitations.
