What is it about?
In this review article, all the potent drugs suitable for pharmacotherapy and phytotherapy have been discussed. Out of which carnosine has reached to the clinical trial stage. Although many anticataract activity have been recognized but there is a need to go for further research in this area so that a potent drug for cataract could be developed. As surgery is the one and only cure for cataract till now, more exploration in this field can lead to a revolution by providing a safe, effective and pocket friendly alternative for the treatment of cataract.

Writing this article was an immense pleasure, i got to learn a lot of things, most of the people are unaware of the possible treatments of cataract except surgery, so it's important to work in this field to find a suitable cure for cataract instead of surgery.
