Location, as well as the number of storage centers or collecting stations, are critical variables in running a viable door-delivery system. The locations should be able to minimize the average distance from the collecting stations to the destinations. The work presents an algorithm to determine the locations and the bare minimum number of collecting stations required to operate the door-delivery system profitably.
