What is it about?
Case-Based Learning (CBL) as one of the effective learning strategies for nursing education helps students to develop their professional skills including problem solving ability, communication competency, and increasing motivation. It involve the students to work in clinical and real-life situations that facilitate motivation and increase critical thinking also the capacity to work in group. This paper reports how CBL is applied in a wound care unit.

This was a part of implementation of community engagement program to solve institution problems regarding the clinical teaching and learning.
Perspectives
Writing this paper was challenging. However, we belief that this reports would provide the evidence that CBL is useful and effective strategy in learning to stimulate student actively in learning process and responding the patients' need.
