What is it about?
The Roselle plant (Hibiscus sobdariffa L.) belongs to the Malvaceae family, is one of the economically and medicinally important plants and is widely grown in tropical and subtropical regions like India, Australia, Indonesia and Africa (1). Roselle having various medically important compounds called photochemical, is well known for its nutritional and medicinal properties. Many parts of Roselle including seeds, leaves, fruits and roots are used in various foods as well as in herbal medicine as a potential non-pharmacological treatment ( 2). Roselle riches in nutrients such as anthocyanins, organic acids, pectin, phenolic compounds and vitamins that are important in reducing chronic diseases (3) as well as antispasmodic, hypotensive, antimicrobial and uterine muscle relaxation (4). The lower cost is in addition to its safe use compared to other drugs and chemical treatments prepared in the laboratory from chemicals (5). The productivity of this plant and its medical compounds content can be increased by using several methods, including spraying organic nanoparticles fertilizer as a modern agricultural processes that lead to a healthy environment. agricultural practices involving organic and environmental-friendly compounds such as optumusplus So, environmental friendly approach of producing high quality organic fertilizer (6,7). Nanotechnology has received great attention to the progress and economic development of science and knowledge (8). it is necessary to minimize nutrient losses in fertilization and to increase the crop yield (9 ,10). Accordingly, this study was aimed to evaluate the effect of optimus plus nanoparticles and spraying time on growth and yield of Roselle.
