What is it about?

Various areas of Green synthesized Graphene Quantum Dots (GQD) from Phyllanthus Emblica have bee reviewed. The constituents of Phyllanthus Emblica, along with their chemical composition are described in the phytochemistry. The green approaches such as solvothermal and hydrothermal methods were discussed for the synthesis of nanoparticles.

Why is it important?

Graphene quantum dots were hypothesized to provide novel or enhance existing technologies for bioimaging, medication delivery, and diagnostic detectors for disease detection and in medical areas as antimicrobial agents.

Perspectives

Research in this area Graphene quantum dots could nullify many difficulties faced especially as the process used is eco-friendly . Through different research collaborations, novel inventory techniques of fabricating GQDs and discovery of new devices could be achieved soon.
