Why is it important?
The analytical tools used in this study were the Nordic Body Map (NBM), Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Work Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA) and Heart Rate Monitor (HRM). REBA score show the cutting process is 12 (very high risk) and WERA score is 37 (moderate risk). Energy calculation results based on HR measurements show the energy required is 6.34 kcal/minute (classified as moderate work). That's how it happenedconcluded that corrective action needs to be taken as soon as possible, so that workers are safer and more comfortable.
Perspectives
I hope that this article provides insight and additional references related to ergonomics studies in industry, especially in small and medium industries, where working conditions tend to ignore aspects of safety and work comfort.
