What is it about?
Infections of urinary tract have been proven to be the most encountered bacterial infections in human. Our study was oriented toward isolation and diagnosis of bacterial pathogens involved in causation of urinary tract infection in community with detection of antibiogram in non-pregnant females with careful determination the antibiotic of choice to treat them.

Why is it important?
The majority of uropathogen involved in causation of UTI is Escherichia coli. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing is an essential to achieve the desired antibiotic with excellent efficacy.
