What is it about?
The results of this work will help you accurately calculate the irradiance coefficients between a flat polygon and a sphere.

Why is it important?
The results of this work are important because for the first time formulas have been proved for the exact calculation of the irradiance coefficients between plane polygons and a sphere, between an infinite circular cylinder and an infinite strip of finite width parallel to it.
Perspectives
In the future, formulas for the exact calculation of the irradiance coefficients between two spheres with arbitrary radii will be proved for the first time. Numerical methods for calculating the irradiance coefficients between different finite surfaces based on the Nusselt unit sphere method will be proposed.
