What is it about?

The property of the material depends on the structure. Here we synthesized TM doped glasses and by using spectroscopic techniques optical absorption, electron paramagnetic resonance, FTIR, and Raman Spectra glass structure are studied

Why is it important?

The properties of glass can be modified by changing the composition of glass. Adding two alkalis to glass produces an anomalous change in their properties based on the alkali ratio.

Perspectives

The change in the nonmetallic nature of glasses concerning the alkali ratio is studied so that we can choose the required composition of glass.
