What is it about?

UAV has been tested to change the use of conventional aircraft in cloud seeding operation, but there is some disturbance both on the longitudinal and lateral axis that can make the UAV very unstable. In order to keep the stability of UAV, we tried to implement a regulator system stability. On this paper, we will discuss the design process of the longitudinal regulator stability system and the impact on UAV stability.

Why is it important?

Base on the experiment, the longitudinal regulator control system is able to maintain the UAV stability and keep the UAV pitch angle away from the stall angle.
